I love Christmas so it pains me to disparage fellow Christmas lovers, but I must, for my own peace of mind, ask: what the heck is going on here??? It always makes me a bit glum to see people dragging their Christmas trees out to the curb on December 26th with looks of "okay, fun's over" on their faces. But what troubles me more is the perplexing occurrence of curbside trees in the spring. Is there any sane explanation for this? Help me understand.
