Derek, a musician and a DJ, has played with numerous bands over the years including Girls and The Entrance Band. Kristin, an interior designer, lends her keen design skills to enriching their home visually. Before Derek moved from Chicago to Los Angeles, previous musical tenant friends lived in his Laurel Canyon home. Derek and Kristin have kept the Canyon music flame burning on, filling their home with musical instruments and assorted sonic ephemera.
