- Jose and I purchased our bungalow in December 2014 when I was 6 1/2 months pregnant and renovated it over 2 months. We tried to bring back the Craftsman charm that had been stripped away during an ill-fated 70's remodel while infusing our personalities into the space. We had time for a few DIY projects, like our headboard and the air plant sculptures in the nursery. We loved creating a place to welcome our first child into the world and luckily we finished just in time. I went into labor on our contractor's last day!
