Gray, beige, white, black. Generally, these colors don't evoke feelings of warmth and coziness. But if you visit Klaas Hogeweg's home those are the exact words that come to mind, together with stylish and elegant. His interior might be devoid of any "real" colors (save for the plants), but it sure feels homey and you'll have to resist the urge to touch all the various surfaces. "The soft fabrics do the trick," says Klaas. "What I lack in colors are more than made up for by adding lots of cushions and blankets." And of course his enviable collection of accessories. Klaas has a passion for beautiful materials, especially natural ones like wood and stone. "Another feature that tickles my fancy is craftsmanship. An item that is made with skill and an eye for detail can make me very happy."
