Is it just me, or do scary movies (and even mildly creepy family-friendly films) always have the best houses? Sure, the plots are meant to freak you out or give you the heebie-jeebies, but it's also so easy to get carried away daydreaming about the homes they take place in. Some of them are so well-designed and unique and have such character that they make you wish you could live there...you know, as long as they weren't actually haunted or whatever.
