You'd have to be living under a rock (pun very much intended!) to be unaware of how popular geodes, gems and crystals have become in interiors. If I had to say where it all started, I'd point the finger at agate, which started popping up on the reg about five years ago in slice and slab form as coasters, trivets and even tabletops. Fast forward to now, and crystals of all types—quartz, amethyst, citrine and the list goes on—are becoming pretty common decorative accents, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
