This Towel-Folding Robot Shows It's Still Hard to Teach Machines Things Kids Can Do — Design News

BRETT is the shortened name of the Berkeley Robot for the Elimination of Tedious Tasks. Researchers have been working for seven years, and the road to teaching the robot to fold laundry has been complicated. While BRETT can now fold a towel in 90 seconds, it's still stumped by balled socks and inside-out clothes.
