- What I Love About My Small Home:
- The thing I love best about living in a small home is that it’s a way for me to leave a smaller footprint on planet Earth. My house uses fewer resources – less water, less electricity, fewer materials. At the same time, with only 900 square feet, I am better able to afford to choose furnishings and finishes that I truly love. It becomes possible to invest in quality over quantity. I also like the challenge of figuring out how to fit my belongings and evolving space needs into two bedrooms, one bathroom, one living space, a kitchen, and three closets (and a tiny porch and carport). I’ve found that it’s possible to live very comfortably within these confines.
