Whether you work from home and are looking for a change of scenery, or you are on the hunt for the perfect brew and spot to chill out, Dallas has cozy coffee shops in every neighborhood. We wish we could visit them all, but we’ve chosen a handful of our favorites to share with you!
Copper Bar | Downtown
Forty Five Ten is a beautiful five-floor boutique now located in the heart of downtown Dallas on Main Street. Their new restaurant, Mirador, on level 5 opened recently with beautiful view of the city, but if you’re looking for coffee, pastries, and maybe a glass of mid-day champagne, visit Copper Bar on the main level. This is a fabulous and fashion-forward suggestion if you’re looking for an impressive, high-end meeting spot. Très chic!
Copper Bar (IG: FortyFiveTen) is open Monday-Saturday for from 10AM-6PM.
Magnolias Sous Le Pont | Harwood District
You can’t miss the little blue shop that is Magnolias Sous Le Pont. In fact, you may have spotted the vibrant blue walls in your favorite blogger’s latest Instagram photo! Located on Harwood, Magnolias is the perfectly chic coffee spot you’ve been dreaming of. We sipped on delicious, flavorful seasonal brews at a little marble top table for two outside. We escaped the essence of Dallas for a few hours with its serious Parisian vibes!
Magnolias Sous Le Pont (IG: @magnoliasdallas) is open Monday-Friday from 7AM-6PM and 7AM-5PM on Saturday & Sunday.
The Wild Detectives | Bishop Arts District
If you’re a bookworm looking for a cozy coffee shop, The Wild Detectives is your spot.
The Wild Detectives makes a great location for meetings, to chat with friends, or read a good book over coffee. While the smaller size of this bookstore limits the number of books that can be in stock at once, The Wild Detectives gives you the option to order books through their website with no shipping costs and a drink on the house when you pick it up. It’s a sweet deal!
The Wild Detectives (IG: @thewilddetectives) is open Tuesday-Saturday from 8:30AM-12AM and 10:30AM-11PM on Sunday & 2PM-12AM on Monday.
Nespresso | Highland Park & Preston Hollow
Perhaps you have a Nespresso coffee machine nestled in your kitchen for those lazy mornings or a quick, convenient fix, but there is nothing like the full boutique experience. Lucky for Dallasites, there is a Nespresso boutique located in the upscale NorthPark Center and it is the only boutique in the great state of Texas. Nespresso offers an exceptional and chic dine-in coffee experience. Menu items feature worldly flavors from their own patented pods, limited edition brews, and small desserts.
Nespresso (IG: @NespresssoUSA) is open Monday-Saturday from 10AM-9PM and 11AM-7PM on Sunday.
Ascension Coffee | Design District & Oak Lawn
Aside from roasting their stellar locally-sourced coffee in-house, Ascension Coffee has excellent menu items. It is a coffee shop, fresh plates and wine are also served. Don’t worry! It may be a restaurant, but you can still bring your laptop to work while you enjoy. The atmosphere is very laid-back. We’ve been here for everything from casual conversations to business meetings. Treat yourself to sweet and savory farm-to-table specialties and a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
Ascension Coffee’s (IG: @ascensioncoffee) hours vary. There are 2 locations: Design District and Oak Lawn
Cafe Brazil | Dallas Local
Cafe Brazil is a local Dallas coffee house chain with a full menu and late night dining for night owls and college students. The hours vary by location, but a handful of Cafe Brazil’s locations are open 24 hours, so you can order anything from a cup of coffee to breakfast favorites to signature dinner entrees during finals studying or after enjoying the city nightlife. The environment is always very laid-back and eclectic. Plus, there’s free wi-fi!
Cafe Brazil’s (IG: @cafe_brazil_dfw) hours vary by location. There are 10 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Denton.
