How to Fix A Flat Pillow

-First, try the old-fashioned way: by hand.
-Grab each end of the pillow, and push and pull.
-Squeeze the pillow for the same effect.

-You can also fluff your pillow by drying it.
-Place it in the sun for a few hours.
-Or use a dryer on low heat.
-Place a tennis ball in a sock…
-…tie the end of the sock…
-…and throw it into the dryer with the pillow.
-After a few minutes, the pillow will be good as new.

-This will lead to getting some better rest at night.

First, there’s the good old-fashioned way — by hand. Grab each end of the pillow and pull in and out like you’re playing the accordion. It may be basic, but it still works much of the time. You can also try squeezing the pillows to have the same effect.

Some pillows go flat due to absorbing moisture over time. Drying them can fluff them up quickly. You can do this by setting a pillow out in the sun for a few hours, or by placing it in a dryer set to low heat. Fluff the pillow even more by placing a tennis ball in a sock, tying the end of the sock, and putting them in the dryer with the pillow. Using the dryer method will only take about five minutes, but if you have cotton fill pillows, 15 to 20 minutes is more appropriate.

Part of keeping pillows fluffy involves a regular routine. Make sure you are regularly fluffing them to keep them in shape. This may require fluffing them by hand every day and drying them once a month.

Even with all this effort, pillows will still go flat after five years or so. Then you’ll need to buy a new one. But in the meantime, you’ll know how to keep pillows fluffy.
